Hi all! It’s lovely to meet you all and I am excited to be joining in on the tribe for Magician Month! A little intro: My name is Stacey, and I am joining from Los Angeles. I am an LCSW and have a private practice based in California. I have two dogs (Gracie and Athena), I am a new auntie to my 11-month-old niece, I am a hobby photographer, and I volunteer at a local wolf sanctuary. I am currently in a season of growth in a variety of ways, shedding the old and welcoming the new, and this had me thinking it was the perfect time to join Ravenwolf and WolfTribe. There are multiple aspects of life I am looking to be intentional about in these spaces: 1. My work. Recently, I have been blessed with a few new opportunities. I am looking to continue pushing myself to expand professionally, and create more opportunities despite my imposter syndrome. I will also be completing my Somatic Experiencing Practitioner certification in October (this has been 3.5 year journey), so I would like to continue honing in on my skills, growing my clinical practice, and leaning into where this will take me. 2. My little side hustle. Since my niece was born and I started working with the wolves, I took up photography. I have been told by others that my work is good, but again - imposter syndrome. I really enjoy photography and would like to continue expanding not only my skills, but also get to a place where I am doing it as a side gig. Last week I created an Instagram page where I began posting photos, and eventually will turn this into a professional page. 3. Physical. This year I took up cycling and I am training to join a cycling team. I also started strength training. I am looking to hold myself accountable to my program. 4. Relationships. In recent months, I have realized that I have fallen into old patterns and have been working to reaffirm my boundaries, challenge the people-pleasing, and exist unapologetically. For Magician Month, my bigger focus will be on my upcoming move! I just signed a lease for what is somewhat of a dream house (and will bring me one step closer to a longterm goal of becoming a foster parent).
