✨ Reflection: Where Did I See God This Year?
✨ Reflection: Where Did I See God This Year? As this year comes to a close, take a quiet moment to look back. Not just at the milestones and answered prayers—but also at the waiting, the challenges, and the moments that shaped you. Sometimes God shows up in the big blessings. Sometimes He’s there in the strength you didn’t know you had, the peace that carried you through, or the people He placed beside you at just the right time. Reflect and ask yourself: • Where did I feel God’s presence this year? • What prayers were answered—maybe differently than I expected? • How did God grow me through the hard moments? Take a moment to write it down or share if you feel led. Reflection helps us recognize that God has been faithful all along. 💛

I've seen God in my marriage! He has brought us so much closer. God is so faithful!
📖 Luke 2 Study — The Shepherds 📖
In Luke 2, God chose an unexpected audience to receive the first announcement of Jesus’ birth — shepherds. Shepherds were ordinary, overlooked, and often dismissed by society. Yet God entrusted them with extraordinary news. This reminds us that God’s invitation is not based on status, position, or perfection — it’s based on His grace. What stands out about the shepherds: • They were available — watching their flocks by night • They were fearful, yet open to God’s message • They responded immediately, going to see Jesus • They left changed, praising and glorifying God 📖 “Let us go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” — Luke 2:15 The shepherds didn’t question whether they were worthy — they simply went. Their obedience and faith remind us that God often reveals Himself to those with humble hearts who are willing to respond. May we be like the shepherds — attentive, responsive, and ready to share what God has done in our lives. 🤍

I just watched a sermon on this on YouTube. It was from Lakepointe Church. I love when God brings things back around for us to pay attention to!
