Call for Speakers: Unplug & Play Summit
Hi Everyone, As promised, here are the details for the upcoming Unplug & Play summit scheduled for 16 - 22 August 2026. About the Summit - Unplug & Play is a playful reset for families who want more connection, more creativity, and more screen-light moments in everyday life. - Hosted inside the Connected Through Play community, this summit brings together practical voices, creative people, educators, community members, and family-centered professionals who care about helping kids and adults connect in everyday ways. - This is not an anti-screen event. We are focused on screen-light family life, practical ideas, and small moments of connection that feel possible in real homes. - The summit is planned as a multi-day virtual gathering with morning, midday, and evening session opportunities. Most sessions will be live on Zoom, with some recorded sessions considered when the topic is a strong fit. I've attached a speaker information sheet for you. Please let me know if you have any questions.

The Real Shortcut to Visibility and Opportunities
Here is a strong, engagement focused post you can use. It is written to spark curiosity and replies, not just inform: Most people think growth online comes from posting more content, but that is only part of the story. What actually moves things faster is being in the right rooms with the right people. Not random networking, but intentional connections that turn into collaborations, referrals, speaking opportunities, and visibility in spaces you would normally struggle to access alone. That is exactly what this community is built around. A place where entrepreneurs stop trying to figure everything out in isolation and instead plug into a system where opportunities are already being shared openly, speaker spots are easier to access, and collaboration becomes the norm instead of the exception. Here is something I am curious about: If you had easier access to the right people in your space, would you focus more on growing your audience, or building partnerships that expand your reach faster? I would like to hear how you see it, audience growth or strategic relationships, which one feels more important right now and why?

@Ashley Brooks The biggest hurdle will be to build my email list with people who will benefit from the summit. I'm comfortable interviewing experts online, but I tend to spend too much time trying to perfect the video afterward, even though I know this is not necessary. Thank you for asking!
