Hi everyone!
I'm a guest and it's great to be here! For an introduction, let me just share a question. Every day we open pesukei dezimra with the berachah "baruch she-omar" (ืึธึผืจืึผืึฐ ืฉึถืืึธืึทืจ). It has the words "baruch chai load v-kayam lo-netzach" (ืึธึผืจืึผืึฐ ืึทื ืึธืขึทื ืึฐืงึทืึธึผื ืึธื ึถืฆึทื). Here's the question. Aren't we saying the same thing twice? What's the difference between "lives forever" and "endures for eternity"? The truth is, I don't really know the answer. So, if you have an idea for an anwer or find one, please comment! Good point โฆ throughout davening and the day - we are thanking and blessing the creator using many references and descriptorsโฆ starting with modeh ani โฆ no description is sufficient but in the davening and brachos we use many many references to attempt to explain to US โฆ the unlimited greatness of the master of the universe. @Yosef Wolf - Iโm sure you have a better answer.
