Lead Magnets
I discovered something today about creating a lead magnet. I was downloading a conversation with a prospect, and I'd given her some tips on creating a winner's mindset and podcast strategy. Then I saw that AI had renamed it "MamaJ's Growth Strategy." I asked Claude to create two lead magnets, and I love what it's created. It got me thinking: this is quite a fun way to create lead magnets with words that you're already using in conversations. Would you like to see what me and AI created together?

I wanted to share my win 💗
I’m still really early in this journey, and there have definitely been moments where I’ve wondered if what I’m building is actually going to work. I’m figuring things out as I go, changing things, second-guessing myself, and trying not to get discouraged when things move slower than I hoped. But this week I did something I’m really proud of. I built two apps. 🥹 A few days ago, I had no idea I could even do this. Now I’m looking at something that was literally just an idea in my head actually working. There’s still a long way to go, but this felt like one of those moments where I needed to stop focusing on how far I have left and actually acknowledge how far I’ve come. So I’m counting this one as a win. 💗

@Jennifer Garcia Well done, Jennifer! 👏
Genius Women!
Inspired by @Ben Sherry I'm excited to introduce you to the Genius series 💃 I've been reaching out on LinkedIn in a quirky way. Ask me about that in the comments if you'd like to know more. I'm then interviewing people as part of the Genius Series, where I will, with their permission, upload the interview to a platform of their choice. I'm also popping it onto my YouTube platform. @MamaJ Hollows Very quirky, but very you! 🤩 Really happy to hear you're getting great traction with it, and most importantly, you're having fun! The biggest killer of any (typically boring) outreach system is - consistency.

@MamaJ Hollows Locked in and organized! Looking good, Mama J 🚀 This week, I'm focusing on the 60-second pitch challenge. Getting everything organized and making sure I've gotten all the new community members off to a good start! And doing my power hour at least 3 days this week to keep that moving. ✊

🔐 Am I Going Back to Prison?
Life has taken an unexpected twist. Back in July, I was invited to a prison down the road from me to do a guest talk. One of the guys had been writing to his buddy and had read my book, Wing of an Angel. He then invited me back for a day supporting veterans in prison, and I decided to take along @Louise Knighton And the buddy that was supporting him, we all had a fabulous day. Real interesting prisoner with an amazing rehabilitative attitude, and I even had "Play My Way" by Frank Sinatra. Oh, and a cake because it was my birthday. We did that visit without any agenda or reason other than to support the guy who had reached out and asked us to come and do a talk. It was totally voluntary, and the two girls were amazing. We had a lot of fun together. This week, the prison governor, who is called a director because it's a private prison, reached out to me to ask what it would be like if we were to provide our services into that prison on a longer-term basis. I have a curriculum and a program from my days of running the nonprofit Beyond Recovery, so I set up a call with him to discuss what that might look like. This morning, I spent 3 hours writing a proposal to take that curriculum back into a prison that I worked with in 2016. When it wasn't so innovative and to be honest, it was hard work. I've had all sorts of other ideas (being an entrepreneur) about what could follow, because that's the way my mind goes, but what I truly know is that when you do anything like this, you just submit it and you say, "We'll see." It could come off. It might not come off. Some other different thing might come off. But it reminded me deeply of how we can never know what's coming our way and what might grow from that. We can never know the impact we're having and the ripple effects from that. We can never know what life has in store for us. We just have to be ready to say yes when it offers something. I'd love to hear your stories on when this has happened for you.
