I’ve been stuck around 1400 on chess dot com. I best a guy a few weeks ago. He was 1378. I checked his rating now, he’s over 1500. How is this possible? Perhaps I need to play more if I want to get the rating up!

Instead of monthly tournaments, we’ll move to quarterly tournaments for now—this allows us to make each one more meaningful, competitive, and fun as we build momentum. Tournament Announcement: ♟️ Blunder Fest with Friends! Who: U1900 on Lichess We’re battling on Lichess at 7pm Central (Dec 19) with $25 in prizes — $15 for 1st, $10 for 2nd. Anyone can join the arena link, but only members of this community are prize-eligible — so bring friends! Berserk + streaks ON. See you on the board! No entry fee.
