Stop Waiting For Permission
No one is coming to tell you you’re ready. No one is going to give you the perfect moment. You either decide to start… or you stay where you are. Take ownership. Make the move. Figure it out along the way. What’s something you’ve been waiting to start?

This hit. I’ve been putting off really diving into funding and credit because I felt like I needed to “understand everything first”… but I’m starting to realize that clarity probably comes from actually doing, not waiting. Being in this community is kind of my way of finally making that move. For you, what helped you stop overthinking and actually take that first step?

@Tri Le That’s powerful, I like that a lot. The idea that clarity comes after action really hits, I think a lot of people get stuck waiting to feel ready when it’s really the movement that creates the direction. What was that first small step you decided to take that made the biggest difference for you?
I'm new
Hello everyone, I'm Mike from northern California. I am curious to see if there are any other new members to the funding machine and how you are doing so far.

@Mike Tunget Hey Mike, I appreciate you being open about that 🤝 I understand where you’re coming from, when there’s a significant cost involved, it definitely needs to feel practical and realistic, especially without seeing results yet. That hesitation makes a lot of sense. I’m still learning too, but I’ve been trying to focus more on understanding the fundamentals first before jumping too fast into anything. If you don’t mind, I think it might be easier for us to share ideas and go a bit deeper without flooding the comment section here. We could continue the conversation over email or Gmail and exchange thoughts more freely. Let me know if you’re open to that 👍

@Mike Tunget Okay, that's nice I will do that now Mike
Hi Everyone
When I first started posting consistently, I struggled with low engagement even when the content was solid. Then I started using a simple framework that changed everything: The 3E Formula – Educate, Entertain, Engage. Here’s how it works: ✅ Educate: Share a quick tip, strategy, or insight your audience can use right away ✅ Entertain: Add personality, story, or a little humor to make it relatable ✅ Engage: End with a call to action or question to spark conversation Just using this structure helped me turn dry posts into conversations and my reach started to grow. Hope this helps anyone trying to stay consistent without burning out. If you're using a different content strategy that works, I’d love to hear it!

@Fernando Savala Hey Fernando, I really like your approach, being open to learning from others while also sharing what you know is a great mindset. I’m still getting familiar with the community myself, but I thought I’d say hi and connect. What’s been the most interesting thing you’ve learned recently from others here?
$400K FUNDED: And how you can do it too
Hey guys, I want to be more active in this group and share more wins. The funding: Struggling pharmacy owner, drowing in debt payments with two MCA positions. Bought out two other MCA positions with a large term loan that increased cash flow and gave him extra working capital. We are proceeding with factoring and an SBA loan to give him long term replacement capital so he doesn't need to take additional high interest loans again. Main lessons: 1. Don't give up/old leads can be revived: This guy basically told us to screw off at one point. 5 months later we reconnected and we got him funded. 2. Earn trust with education: He was surrounded by MCA brokers leading him astray. We set up a path to sustainable financing to that would relieve cash flow pressure. He could probably tell I actually care about helping his business. He gets 20+ calls a day from brokers but chose to trust us. How to do this yourself: Have clients that have weekly or daily payment loans aka merchant cash advances? PM me! Let's do a few together and split it. With virtually a 100% success rade: We can replace them with cheaper loan options and minimum dramatically reduce their existing payment. 🤝

@Neil Kalinoski Hey Neil I came across your profile and liked your focus on real estate, funding, and expense reduction, that’s a powerful combination. I’m still learning in this space myself and trying to understand how everything connects behind the scenes. What’s been the most interesting or valuable part of your journey so far?

@Jeff Stutler Hey Jeff 😊 Nice to connect with you. I saw your profile and it sounds like you’ve got a solid foundation as an advisor, especially with you looking to expand into more income streams. I’m still learning in this space myself and just starting to understand how everything ties together. What’s been the most interesting direction you’re exploring right now as you look to add those extra streams?

Appreciate you sharing this, especially the case studies, that’s the part I’m most interested in as I’m learning. I’m still new to the space, so seeing real examples helps connect the dots a lot more than just theory. From your experience, what’s one common pattern you see in successful funding cases that beginners should pay attention to?
