Speaking of show etiquette
Do you wear a band's t-shirt to their live show?

Growing up, going to punk and metal shows primarily, there was an almost dogmatic attitude about this particular piece of etiquette. Sometimes, I think it is especially cool or fun if the shirt is from a previous tour because it can be a welcome start to a conversation while you're in line for the show. A band I've befriended often wears their own merch, and when I've worked with them as their photographer, I follow suit, seeing it almost as the work uniform.

@Laura Dobbins I particularly enjoy seeing the different band shirts people will wear at shows. If I recognize the design or band name, if I'm not feeling overly shy, I try to make an effort to compliment them or might mention that I'm a fan also. It has made for a welcome way to pass time while waiting in line for shows over the years.
When do you arrive at the show?
Doors open at 7. Opening band starts at 8. The headliner starts at 9-ish. When do you show up? Obvs this is dependent on who is playing, but let's go for averages. Your tendencies. What's your gut reaction?

There are a few different scenarios that determine this for me. Whether it is a normal show or a festival, and if I'm attending by myself. Even if I have a reserved seat, I'll be there before doors if possible because I want to see the whole show. Since I don't drive, if I'm part of a group, I'll be more open to what works best for the group.
I saw this in another group and thought this group would like it
Greatest one line in a song ever, not a verse, chorus or bridge. Let's hear 'em

I’ve resisted adding some that have become classics to me, but also keep coming across new ones. Here’s a new favorite from Ultha: 'It’s the struggle for ambition in an ocean of defeat. Like a forest for a garden in a world you’ll never see.”
My top streamed albums YTD
My top ten streamed albums for the last 90 days. Worth noting that #2 and #3 are playing together Monday night, 3/23 at the Central Saloon in Seattle (will be my 2nd Plash show and my 2nd Jo Passed show in just the past few weeks).

I think this isn't entirely representative of my overall listening, but what I have put on repeat in the last few months. 1. Love is Not Enough - Converge 2. An Undying Love for a Burning World - Neurosis 3. Little Queen - Heart 4. Impossible World - Filth is Eternal 5. Nevermind - Nirvana 6. Payable on Death - POD 7. The Messthetics and James Brandon Lewis 8. Acts of Faith - Sault 9. Slaughter of the Soul - At The Gates 10. Nordic Gothic - Cemetery Skyline
‘Bad’ concert behaviour
I was at a show last night and the person next to me was singing along to every word of every song. While that in and of itself is not a crime (maybe a bit of moderation mighta been nice?), this person also couldn’t have found the right key with GPS. Is there anything at a concert that absolutely drives you nuts when someone near you does it?

As is already touched on above, talking loudly is probably my number one irritant. It is bizarre how all spatial awareness seems to fade for some people if they are part of a crowd. I know there have been a few shows in smaller venues where a couple was getting a bit too involved in their PDA, and that definitely bothers me. If two people are in a crowd with no personal space, I don't think any bystander needs to be a sort of pinball bumper while they make out.
