Coach C: In an X&O Labs document... they have an article (authored by you) that references a count system for your wide zone. It reads: By Mike Kuchar with Nick CoduttiHead CoachFulshear High School (TX)@coachcodutti Fulshear is not a tempo team, so he doesn’t track the zone. Instead, he relies on teaching a numbers system. “We talk about 1, 2, 3, and 4,” he said. “The offensive line is responsible for first linebacker weak if we’re running wide zone weak. If we run wide zone strong, the offensive line knows we are in charge of number two because the FB/TE is responsible for number one strong.” Is this just a smoke screen? I haven't seen anything in here about a number system, so I was wondering if this was just to lead opponents astray? Appreciate any insight! I'll attach a rough copy of the report...
