I had full intentions to film over the weekend and my head just said “no”. Life happens — and this is exactly why I’m building this group around real energy levels, honesty, and not perfection. I’ll share the first dump bag walkthrough very soon 👍
@Steph Timoney honestly, that sounds exhausting 😔 sitting in the car that late and still not eaten is far too common for so many parents. You’re exactly why I’m asking these questions — not to be nosey, but to really understand where the pressure points are so we can work towards something that actually helps on nights like this. These are real, everyday problems that so many families have (mine included). We’ll figure it out together 💪
Quick honesty post 🙋♂️ Life got busy the last few days and I stepped away — but I’m back. What’s been the hardest part of food/meal planning for you this week?
@Katie Timoney your right. You have so many good intentions and ideas at the start of the day but then by the time you have gone through a day at work the last thing you want to do is get home and start prepping and cooking meals. 😞
Reading through the replies, a common theme keeps coming up — it’s not about knowing what to cook, it’s about having the energy when it matters. Late finishes. Kids’ clubs. Everyone hungry. That’s the bit I want this space to help with. That’s it. No recipes. No plans. Just alignment.
Midweek honesty check 👀 On the busiest nights, what usually happens? A️⃣ Takeaway B️⃣ Freezer food C️⃣ Something rushed D️⃣ Everyone fends for themselves No judgement — just curious. 👀
All these are common in every household. The only issue is that it often ends with something that is either hugely processed or not necessarily that good for you. Hopefully we can work together and work on healthier but easier solutions! 👍
