Hydration is my goal today, although my breakfast was fresh strawberries from Virginia and low fat cottage cheese, so I think today started off great.

Sautéed bell peppers are great on steak or eaten fresh.
April 2, 2026 – Thrive Thursday
April 2, 2026 – Thrive Thursday You do not have to eat perfectly to support your health. But learning the difference between whole foods and processed foods can help you make more intentional choices. ***Whole foods are foods that are close to their natural state, like: • Fruits • Vegetables • Eggs • Oats • Beans • Nuts ***Processed foods are foods that have been changed in some way. Not all processed foods are bad, but many ultra-processed foods are higher in added sugars, sodium, and artificial ingredients. The goal is not fear. The goal is awareness. More whole foods can help support: ✨ Better energy ✨ Fullness ✨ Blood sugar balance ✨ Overall wellness Progress over perfection always. ✨ What is one whole food you want to eat more often this month?

Eating healthy is definitely an issue for me as I only eat once a day. I have no problem eating healthy foods but I feel my eating once a day isn’t healthy.

I love that this was created, I don’t get to interact with you guys as often as I would like, but it is comforting knowing you all are here when I get the chance to sit down and enjoy the conversations.

Whole-body wellness means recognizing that everything in your health is connected. Your thoughts influence your habits. Your stress affects your energy. Your sleep impacts your cravings. Your emotions affect your consistency. When one area of wellness is out of balance, it often begins to affect the others. Think of it like a car with tires out of alignment. It still moves forward, but the ride becomes rough and inefficient. That’s why our wellness approach focuses on supporting the mind and body together. Today, take a moment to check in with yourself. Which area of wellness needs the most attention right now? Mental health Nutrition Movement Lifestyle balance Connection with others

The last 5 years has definitely taught me that mental health is very important and I now count every day as a blessing and to find something every day that makes me smile.
