Finding Your Way Back - starts 1st September
A 30-day journaling invitation for women in transition I have a photograph on my screen that I look at every day. I don't know where it is. The last time this happened, it took six or nine years to arrive there. And when I did, I wasn't even looking for it. I was on a snorkeling trip off the coast of Malaysia, wanting to see fish—and I found myself standing on the exact beach I'd been looking at for years. Some things find us before we find them. This journaling invitation works the same way. "Finding Your Way Back" is 30 days of prompts and gentle creative invitations for women somewhere in the middle of a transition. A new country. A quieter house. A loss that changed everything. A creative life trying to emerge. An identity between one skin and the next. You don't have to know where you are. You don't have to know where you're going. Just begin. This is not a challenge. It's an invitation. Write, paint, photograph, or simply sit with each prompt. Do one a day or three on Sunday. Start anywhere. All of it counts. None of it is wrong. Each prompt comes with a small story from my own life. Real ones. Not curated. Because the only journaling that actually helps is the kind that feels true. Six themes. Thirty days. One full circle: Arriving Memory & Place The Body Knows Colour & Creativity Relationships & Loss What's Becoming Share what emerges if you want to. The Tea House is here to witness, not judge. Make a tea. Find a quiet corner. Open to Day 1. And begin. 💛

Sounds great! I have diary, so maybe I choose another way - photos or just the sitting.
What if your painting wasn't asking for more... but for less?
I'm in Budapest, back in my home environment, catching up on administrative tasks and spending time with my son and friends. I hadn't painted for a week. Then yesterday evening, I took out one of my paintings and simply sat with it. Sometimes the most important brushstroke is the one we decide not to make. Before you return to your work today, sit with it for two quiet minutes. Don't think about what needs fixing. Instead, ask yourself: Where is the painting already alive? Let that answer guide your next mark. ☕ I'd love to hear what your painting whispered back. PS: I created this image about a year ago with Dalle. Have you ever tried Midjourney?

I love Your painting, so bright and calling... also calming. I wish I could be there. :) No answer from my part because I do not have paintings like this but I'll try to sit down a bit with one of my art journal pages this afternoon.
What Beauty Does
I spent the last few days exploring Polish castles and rivers—and came back with a head full of images and colour. Moszna Castle especially. 365 rooms, 99 towers. Fairytale doesn't cover it. It reminded me why we need beauty. Why we seek it out. Why it feeds everything we create. What have YOU been creating lately? Share a photo, a few words, or just the feeling of it. Finished or in-progress—both welcome.

Lovely castle. ❤️ Lately I am having fun with beads and learning basic techniques. I think I will try bead embroidery also. But I was testing my paints also and created my own dot card. ❤️
A Small Creative Ritual
This week I walked through a forest where everything seemed impossibly green. The birds were singing overhead. A stream ran beside the path. The leaves glowed in the soft light. For a while, there was nowhere to rush to and nothing to solve. Just green. Today's invitation: Take a few quiet minutes and remember a place in nature that makes you feel alive. It might be a forest, a garden, a beach, a mountain path, or even a single tree you love. In your journal, write a few words about what you see, hear, smell, and feel there. Then add colour. Not what the place looks like, but what it feels like. I'd love to hear where your mind wanders today. ☕ And a warm welcome to our newest members—so glad you're here. 💛

Greetings and gratitude - Lily
Hello everyone in the group. I'm so happy to be here! My name is Beatrix Revhelyi but my friends call me Lily. I have a loving husband and two adult children. I consider myself an explorer and a curious soul. I live in Hungary, near the capital in a house with a small garden. I'm creating since my childhood and I have always been curious about all kinds of creative activities. I beaded, embroidered, enameled, painted, molded, tried cardmaking, scrapbooking ... and I can't stop discovering new things. I also have been writing a diary since I was a teenager. Nowadays I have several diaries (one "main", and a memory planner with pictures about our lives, a tea diary, a junkie one, if we travel then I create a travel journal about the trip and I also have some art journals). Nowadays I am also interested in urban sketching and outdoor painting - but a bit scared of it. Why am I here? I dont know, it was just a callin', I registered on the skool platform and was searching for creative places. I love tea and art so I was thinking this could be my place to be with kind people. So nice to meet You! Hugs! 🌞 You can find me on Instagram also, but I'm not sure if insta profile links allowed here.

I leave my last art journal page here. It's made in a diy paperbag album.

Curious creative soul from Hungary. Love art journaling, writing diaries about everything (life, travel, tea), working on letting go of my maximalism
