4 DAYS LEFT to enter the 60 Second Cinema Challenge 3
First day of shooting a 60 Second Cinema film
First day down on our intro film for the 60 Second Cinema challenge in Eugene, Oregon on December 21 at the art house it’s gonna be part of the Delta Ponds holiday event. Today I shot a scene with Tom Robinson with a real simple lighting, set up one soft box with grid overhead and a bounce down below using an LED tube light to just get a little fill around his face. Tom as usual did an awesome job with his performance and this is going to be the first part that we’re shooting the next will be at a train station on Thursday and then we should have it all done by the weekend after everything is edited down. Here’s a little teaser of what dailies we shot today. Are you making 60 Second Cinema film? you still have till December 15 to enter

Netflix Buys Warner Bros & DC: What It Means for Theaters… and Indie Filmmakers
WHAT DO YOU THINK ? Hollywood just got flipped on its head. Netflix buying Warner Bros + DC is huge… and it’s gonna shake up theatrical releases in a big way. 🎥 Here’s the truth no one wants to hear: The big-budget studio pipeline is about to get tighter than ever. Fewer theatrical slots. Less risk-taking. More franchise overload. But for indie filmmakers? This is your window. This is where you stop begging for access and start building your own audience. Because if the studios lock the doors, creators like us just build a new damn house. 💥 Stay scrappy. Stay nimble. Your audience is out there — you just gotta give them something real.

Rainy in Portland, but getting busy editing
Boy when I. Rains , it Portland's haha Well got back from Eugene yesterday helping shoot an upcoming short holiday film called Forbidden Fruitcake . Had a great time and we got some great shots Then boom woke up to rain today and it looks like I got to reschedule some shoot in the coming week because they are supposed to be outdoors and I don’t really feel like getting my camera wet, or have actors standing in the rain. Have you ever had to reschedule a shoot ? Love to hear your stories
