Could be that you have delayed data.
When do you switch contracts?
When is it time to switch to the December contract on ES and NQ?

Here is a helpful overview on CME https://www.cmegroup.com/markets/equities/sp/e-mini-sandp500.volume.html In the first screenshot of Tradingview far left is the menu for Object Tree and Data Window, select data window, then the timeframe you want to check. In this example I am comparing Sept to Dec per same 1 hour candle. Far left of data window shows the open, high, low, close and Vol. You want to compare Vol by clicking on the candle that you want to compare. For that hour candle Dec had volume of 365 and Sept had a volume of 43,680 Or what Helen said is even easier.

@Yeongseo Kim recommend not using MFF for Algo
Trying to understand…
Have a couple questions.., 1. I'm trading micros for my EA accounts. I took a trade on NQ and on ES. When logging in my trade log the amounts of the loss and profit were not the actual amounts shown under my account dashboard for each account. Im trying to understand the point value for micros on NQ and ES. When logging in trade log I check the micro box, enter numbers and it doesnt reflect the same loss and profit as I actually took for each account. I had to manually adjust the point value to get close to the actual numbers which seems super tedious. 2 I noticed this on live paper trading as well, that often times when taking a loss the actual number it closes at is not my actual stop loss. It will close a tad higher than my stop. my loss today was higher than what it showed when creating the limit order. Is this normal? I noticed with my profit today it was also lower than shown when creating the limit order. Thanks for the help.
