Using AI narrative now - is it really acceptable?
This has probably been covered already, but I do have a question. Audiobooks are quite expensive to produce, unless you can strike a royalty sharing deal. Not all non-fiction is attractive to narrators. I would prefer - as you suggest - to narrate my own, but find the technical challenges of producing something of quality to be too onerous. Much harder than actually writing the text! So have been testing some of the AI narration software and finding a little of it is surprisingly good. My question is whether this is truly accepted by the key platforms: ACX/Audible, Google and Apple Play, etc., if you don't use their proprietary AI programs. Your thoughts?

@Jeff Mildon Yes, but as you noted (and Julie too in her video originally) it's by invitation only, and I haven't been invited.
