Awesome stall! I was at a local event here in Brisbane over the weekend as well (just as a viewer), and it looks like a lot of fun to showcase, definitely something I want to do some day

I've been squeezing game dev in after hours of my software job which has been challenging because I've got other hobbies and commitments that leave me feeling empty if I don't find time for. So I've recently made the decision to quit my job after building up a bunch of savings. I've got a YouTube channel where I upload devlogs and tutorials which brings in a bit of money. With the time I'll get back when my job finishes up (less than 3 weeks now!) I'm planning on going hard on the YouTube to get some money coming in while also working on my game. I've got a fair bit of runway, but like a few others in this post, my expenses aren't that big so if worst comes to worst I'm planning on getting a random part-time job for a couple of days per week to cover the bills.

Sadly will have to miss it cos I'm at work, but that won't be a problem in 3 weeks time when I'll be free and working on my game full time 🤙 Keen to watch the recording!
