We went down to AC for a few nights @James Ruscica @Mary Ruscica to have some fun gambling at various table games. I had $400 that I started with. I was really conscious of this amount of money and how it was just slowly dwindling away. I found that my mental awareness of this lack was playing with my head. I really took stock of this bad feeling I was having. I sat down and had a drink and I pondered this emotion and after a few cocktails realizing that I was not playing to win, I was playing not to lose. I don't know why this was so profound HA! and important to me and I have been going to AC for 40 years and finally realized I had always been playing not to lose and not playing to win! I then made a bet on roulette and calculated what I could potentially win on the next spin and everything changed-Everything! $20 would gross me $700 I was now playing to win the $700. Game changer focusing on what it would feel like if the ball dropped on my number (13) I actually walked out of the casino with money in my pocket for a change because my mind shifted. Realizing the shift, I started to look at areas of my investing life and wanted to know where else is this a factor, this notion of "playing not to lose" Watcha think?
