This is so on point for me too! I cannot watch many shows because they “hurt my heart”. I have even cut down on the books I read. I had a thought the other day that I am living an illusion of my own creating and in that illusion I am, in tv and books, watching someone else’s illusion. Ahhh 😂😂 I am spending more time practicing the holy instant and being willing to see outside my illusion. It is helpful 💖💫

I love this and I wonder how it would be applied if I were in some of the unthinkable circumstances I see going on in the world. I am in a safe comfortable home but what if I was being held in captive somewhere or being abused? I often wonder about how these practices would be used in situations such as these? I guess we have had examples such as Ghandi and Jesus and Nelson Mandela. It’s good to solidify these teachings so that if we ever found ourselves in such a circumstance we would have them in place to help us through. ❤️
