If you're like me I like enjoying my yard more than working on it. With that being said I like to use perennials because they keep coming back and I have to do nothing. I have black-eyed susans, snapdragons, marigolds and allysum that either reseed themselves or come back every year. What pollinator flowers come back for you year after year? https://www.tomsguide.com/home/outdoors/9-perennial-flowers-to-plant-in-april-for-blooms-year-after-year

Green thumb developing
Hello fellow green thumbers, My name is Karine and I am writing your from the province of Québec, located in Canada. I live in a growing zone 4. I began with experimenting with growing my first veggie garden two years ago and had some good and not so good yields, as I have learned about figuring out that you cannot plant in some areas and watering. This year, I want to use raised beds (oh, my back will thank me, lol !) seen on so many post (have yet to figure out how to build them) and figuring out how to companion planting technique. Last year, I was supplementing by going to a local farm but, this year, I want to do produce my own crops (fruits, veggies, perennial flowers, annual flowers). I am wanting to learn how to plan the layout, to properly prepare the soil, properly water (self watering system would be best), how to pick my herbs/lettuce/spinach/arugula without them bolting... I have purchased 2 young apple trees, 1 young pear tree, stems of raspberry/blackberry/grapes/cassis which I have yet to figure where they would be part of the planning. Ouf ! I am so eager to put my hands to the soil, dear fellow green thumbers ! À bientôt ! (translates to "See you soon") ;)
