Keep your self in check
…as you probably know sport is a good “keeping in check” media Me and sport we go back years ☺️🫶 and it saved me from death What is your way to “ keep you in check “

@Stephen Mooney I do the same. Still try to crank out the APFT here and there for fun though.
5am CLUB
Re inspired by @Hannah A after she mentioned that she loves the calm time early in the morning, I couldn’t wait to get back to my old habit Feeling supercharged about this as it out another layer to my armour Part of been in recovery, regardless the time that you are clean, if to identify the triggers and if waking up early gives you an extra boost to keep strong and be accountable and avoiding whatever is that can put you back on sabotage mode, I am encouraging everyone to try this This certainly gives me an extra boost in confidence and accountability Have a great day beautiful people

Great idea @Hannah A !!! I definitely part of this club. Most days of the week I am up before 5am and working out. It’s the one time of day that is mine. Love the quiet.
INVEST IN YOUR SELF
Keep working and your body will thank you later Think of movement as a long term investment

Always tell people I am training for my 80’s. Big difference in those who have taken care of themselves in their 30’s and 40’s later in life.

@Hannah A there is a lot of truth in that. Can’t remember where I first heard the thought but stuck with me.

Definitely goes too quick. Kiddos are 16 and 14 now. I work with elementary aged kids so get to have a lot of nostalgic moments at work. It’s awesome.

Quick intro….hello my name is Joe. Live in the US. 46 years old prior military and law enforcement. This group caught my eye as it looks at boxing for its mental strengthening. Boxing has kept me centered on and off for 30 years. I was competitive in my younger teen and early 20s and just for fitness after that.
