Hey there - I'm asking you for input
What feels ok, and what doesn't? ๐Ÿ‚ I want to check in with you all because I want The Creative Cottage to be a completely non-pressured space. Creativity isn't about the hustleโ€”in fact, hustle will just suffocate it. I want you to know that I am absolutely not about that hustle mentality. While I'd love to see this community grow, (and yes, of course I need to generate income) but that isn't my primary goal right now. Your presence, your slow progression, (or fast, if you should so choose) and connections we're building are what is more important to me. I think there's something special about the community we are creating here, and I want to protect that. I deeply value your honesty and your engagement, so Iโ€™d love for you to tell me exactly what will work best for you. My biggest priority is making sure this never becomes a place of overwhelm. Could you let me know in the comments: - What do you most want to get out of this space? - How many posts each week feels okay for you? - What is something that makes you feel overwhelmed in other Skool communities (so we can be sure to avoid it)? Take your time, and thank you for being here!

As I read this post, I was LITERALLY just describing to someone how you have a video of you moving a bookcase, realising you havent moved things off the top as they start to fall over - and that you need to do that and start again. That level of honesty, openness and general exploration is great. I don't want to watch another guy tell me how his proven method is CRUSHING and that I should book a call and consider how much I will invest and if its less than $1200 the call will be cancelled. I want real stories from real people in real places making real creative things. And if those boxes are ticked - the number of posts matters a lot less. I hope I answered the questions here, albeit in my own way (and order) !!

@Stephanie Kara I have posts half-written about: building my awesome home studio, and then dealing with cat piss; putting the couch in the wrong place for almost 12 months; making my bedroom so awesome that I don't want to go into the studio; and much more. Has to be authentic!
