Tried Henry's Foolproof loaf. Attempted to make a Boule first time, but unfortunately ended up with the same usual hiccups. Epic failure! I was brave even to bake two as going to gift one to my sweet neighbor. Total failure as ended up with a soupy mess as usual with my patent flour. I ended up with a sandwich loaf instead. Could not shape it and scoop and aim for the loaf pan. The left loaf, slightly larger as I added extra flour as was much too wet. The right was passable. Back to the drawing board. Wish I knew what to correct. Never give up on a good thing that is for sure, whatever makes you happy. Need to make friends with my sourdough. Love your recipe, Henry and definitely a keeper. Got to get it right and struggled like crazy. Thanks a bunch!
