Otumfuo Osei Tutu II (Asantehene) - 3rd Presentation of The Asante Spade Project
On 14th January, 2026, the Asante Spade was successfully presented to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, during the first Awukadae Festival. He was very happy to see such an innovative project like that.. three weeks after I was granted with an approval letter to use the Asante symbols and pictures of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa III and Okomfo Anokye and all other elements infused in the project

PART 2. What if we had our own spade card game? A Solo Exhibition by Mensah Ebenezer
The whole project is to substitute the elements on the Western spade card to fit in our culture serving as avenue to foster cultural education and preservation. Massive research was done on the symbolic relation to our adinkra symbols( traditional symbols of the Akans from Ghana) and to replace the subjects on the spade card. After that an engaging exhibition was done and even published on the website of the University of Education, Winneba https://www.uew.edu.gh/artedu/news/uew-unveils-ebenezer-mensahs-cultural-card-game-project Several dignitaries were invited to witness this history and a lot of my colleagues were also present. The concept and inspiration behind the spade Project was audibly delivered... The project was successfully evaluated

I had the inspiration from the foreign ones we use in my country and from my research and observation, I got to know most of our people don't even know the subject and meaning of the elements on it so I decided to incorporate our traditional leaders and symbols in this version, promoting our history and culture at large in an unconscious way It's not out now.. I'm stuck at the production stage due to lack of funds and I would like to print it in China because of the prices I had from the printing press in Ghana... I'm open to collaborations and investors for the production The project has a lot of embedded symbolism and research in it and other minor projects
