Congratulations Rhiannon and Eric
Please join me in congratulating @Rhiannon Ayley and @Eric Frank These two rockstars started with us in the coaching program this month, and I'm blown away by their progress already. 🤯 Eric, despite one heck of a busy life, isn't just playing his first song. He's mastering palm muting, jamming confidently with a metronome, playing with other guitarists, and already adding more advanced chords to his arsenal! Fantastic job, my friend! 💪 Rhiannon, who has the coolest metronome I've ever seen (you have to manually wind it up!), is well on her way to getting up to record speed with her first song. She's counting out loud, locking in those ghost strums, and even said, "I can feel the muscle memory starting to kick in." 🤘 I'm ecstatic at how quickly you're both picking things up and can't wait to see (and hear!) you both tackle your dream songs. Keep up the incredible work, Rhiannon and Eric! You're both well on your way to becoming amazing guitarists! 🎸
Congratulations Rhiannon and Eric

Very nice job
Hi all
Hey what’s up everyone. So I have a question. I’m still struggling at the dreadful strumming. What are something’s I can learn to get the beat down.

@Ricardo Ponce exactly... my strumming sounded kinda robotic until I learned to slow it down and relax. The speed will come.

One day I'll get this right 😂 (it's been a heck of a week already) Let's do this 💪 Are you celebrating your small wins or focusing on still not sounding like a pro? One of the worst things, any aspiring guitar player can do is not celebrate small victories. Let me explain... All too often we get wrapped around this idea of perfection, totally forgetting just how far we have come. We criticize ourselves, focus on every mistake, and demand perfection. But is that the goal? Or... Did we pick up a guitar to have fun and make music? I bet it's the ladder. So I say right here and right now. Love your self a little, laugh at mistakes, and celebrate those small victories. Stay frosty, Jake

I agree it's easy to forget about the small wins and just focus on the mistakes. When I started doing videos every once in a while is when I noticed how much farther I have advanced than I thought I had.

@Jake Yakes I plan on putting in the time. Was tough getting going, but once I figured out that I was trying to do too much too fast and slowed things down it's all starting to click. I think this will help me alot.
