Amazing and Well done
Goalkeepers starting to shine USA26
Now the knockout stages have begun, it is great to see some of the GK performances. Despite defeat the Netherlands keeper was on top form yesterday against Morroco! Who else has been playing well in your opinion?

All the keepers from the lower ranked teams seem to be on fire. They know they are playing the top players in the world and they cannot hide.
👋 Welcome to the J4K Goalkeeper Community!
Hi Keepers and Parents As you probably know, goalkeeping is a VERY LONELY position for both keepers and parents. If you are a parent who has no idea how to help your child, let the leading goalkeeper coaching school since 1998 hold you and your child by the hand. We have helped hundreds of keepers go pro or gain USA scholarships. For example, Adam Davies, who plays for Wales and was in the 2022 World Cup, is an ex-J4K student. This is exactly why J4K created this community—so you never have to do this alone again. There is absolutely nothing like this on the planet! To get started, please take two minutes to complete these two steps: 1️⃣ Introduce Yourself Below: Tell us your name, what country you’re from, and share ONE thing you or your child is struggling with right now (handling, positioning, or confidence). 2️⃣ Claim Your Free Asset: I have unlocked The Free Goalkeeper Confidence Blueprint completely for free to eliminate match-day anxiety before your next game. IMPORTANT: Because there are children in the community, we have ZERO tolerance for spam, bullying, or indirect selling. Accounts breaking these rules are reported instantly and banned. 🧤 TUESDAY TEASER
You're a right-footed keeper. Play's switched, the ball rolls across and arrives on your left foot — under a bit of pressure, no time to think. What do you do? 👇 Vote in the poll, then tell me WHY in the comments. There's no trick here — I want to see how you read the situation.

Clear the ball up field immediately using your left foot. When you are a goalkeeper under pressure with no time to think, safety is your absolute priority. Trying to take an extra touch to shift the ball to your stronger right foot increases the risk of a catastrophic turnover or a blocked clearance right into your own net. Do not try to control or trap the ball. Strike it first-time to eliminate the risk of a heavy touch. Kick the ball high and wide toward the wings or out of play. Never clear the ball blindly into the centre of the pitch. Open your hips slightly, put your head down over the ball, and use a standard laces or clearing technique with your left foot to get height and distance. Even if the ball goes out for an opposition throw-in, it allows your entire defence to reset and organise. I found that if I took my time with my weakest foot I would tense up and shank it. If I didn't think about it and kept my eye on the ball, I would seem to make a better connection.
