🌿 Reflection Post
What does “feeling safe” mean to your body—not your mind, but your body? You might notice sensations, emotions, or resistance. There’s no right answer. Just notice.
🗣️Introductions
If you’re comfortable, share: - Your name (or what you’d like to be called) - What drew you here - One word that describes how your heart feels lately There is no need to explain or justify—simple is enough 🤍 Example: - My name is Ayyona, but I like to be called Yaya. - I was drawn to creating this space because I’m on a life long holistic wellness journey and I’m called to help other people on theirs. - One word that describes how my heart feels lately is heavy.

Welcome to The Balm
Welcome 🤍 I’m so glad you’re here. This community was created as a place to exhale—to tend to emotional wounds, reconnect with the body, explore natural healing, and stay rooted in faith without pressure or performance. You don’t need to arrive healed, certain, or strong. You only need to arrive honest. Take a moment to read the Community Covenant, introduce yourself if you feel led, and move at your own pace. There is no rush here. 🌿 Let this be a place where your nervous system can rest.

🌸Our Shared Commitments
1. We lead with compassion. We speak to one another with gentleness, respect, and curiosity. We do not shame, fix, diagnose, or rush someone’s healing. 2. We honor confidentiality. What is shared here stays here. Stories, struggles, prayers, and experiences are not repeated outside this space. 3. We respect different stages of faith and healing. Some are questioning. Some are rebuilding. Some are deeply rooted. All are welcome. We do not debate beliefs or pressure others spiritually. 4. We share from personal experience, not authority. We use “I” language. We do not give medical, psychological, or spiritual directives unless invited and qualified to do so. 5. We stay grounded and embodied. This is a space for integration—not spiritual bypassing. Emotions, grief, doubt, and rest are welcome here. 6. We allow the work to unfold slowly. Healing is not linear. Presence matters more than productivity. 7. We trust the leadership and container. Boundaries are here to protect safety. Moderation exists to preserve the integrity of this space.
