Excited to meet all of you!
Hi everyone, I’m Ayse. I’m focused on multifamily and land development opportunities across the U.S. I’m actively looking for off-market deals and enjoy connecting with brokers, investors, wholesalers, and other deal hunters who are sourcing quality opportunities. Looking forward to networking, sharing insights, and building valuable relationships within the group.

Emotional Investing???
I started the course and the piece about taking emotions out of investing really hit home. This is such a challenge for me. Has anyone else had this problem? Would love an "accountability" partner!

Let’s be accountability partner.
Intro
Hey everyone! I’m Britanie a real estate agent, and a mom of three… so life is always busy, but I love it. I’ve built my business around helping people take action, whether that’s buying, selling, or spotting opportunities others might overlook. Right now I’m really focused on growing, building stronger connections, and getting more involved in the investment side of deals. One advantage I bring to the table: I move fast and I’m not afraid to pick up the phone. I’m big on communication and building relationships, and I’m comfortable having the conversations it takes to get deals moving. What’s been holding me back: Still learning how to consistently find the right deals and knowing when to jump on them. I’m here to get better at that, take more action, and be around people who are actually doing it. Excited to be here and learn from all of you! 🙌

Hi Britanie, Great to connect. I focus on multifamily acquisitions and land development opportunities. What markets do you primarily serve? Do you come across off-market multifamily or land opportunities in your area? Looking forward to connecting and learning more about your business..
Brokers are dismissing me...
I've had a few brokers seemingly dismiss me after I start asking them questions about a property that they listed. I'm starting off by asking 2-3 specific questions about the property based on the listing- vacancy, major updates, etc. Then, asking for P/L or rent roll numbers. After that they say to text them my email address so they can send me the docs and they never get back to me. Am I encountering bad brokers? Am I potentially sounding like a noob that they think can't make a deal happen? And with that- how frequently should I follow up?

You’re probably not being dismissed because of the questions themselves. Brokers get a lot of inquiries from people who never end up making offers, so they’re constantly trying to determine who’s a serious buyer. Try leading with a brief introduction about your investment criteria, experience, or ability to close, then ask for the rent roll and financials. That helps establish credibility upfront. As for follow-up, I typically recommend 2-3 business days after the initial conversation, then once more about a week later. If there’s still no response, move on to the next opportunity. The best brokers are usually responsive when they believe you’re a qualified buyer.
