Believe me, I write with more tears in my heart than in my eyes. Not from sadness, but from joy mixed with self-pity for the wounds and pain I endured, especially since I used to cope with this pain by escaping into pornography addiction, which devoured years of my most precious youth. Then I remember that I found what I had been searching for for years. I'm not addicted because I'm bad or morally corrupt, or because I'm a lustful person. I was simply running away from pain and wounds. Also, my brain was working in a way that contradicted my own, and I thought it was against me, an enemy. I thought my brain was working against me because of the influence of addiction, even though this is something we all believe in. But the matter was much deeper. ADHD was the driving force behind my addiction, 80%. Now I'm about to begin medication for the disorder and apply what I learned in cognitive behavioral therapy to myself. I know with certainty, by God's will, that this time I will succeed, no matter what happens. I know I will succeed as long as God has guided me to this place. I know God will also guide me to success. I love you all and I'm grateful to be with you.
