Hey friends! It looks like we weren't able to resolve our tech issues sadly so we'll have to reschedule! @Brindizi Hamblin - To answer your question(s): I'm a big fan of Howl's Moving Castle and especially Howl Pendragon as a character. My upcoming book, Hawk & Sparrow, features a character who was loosely inspired by him. Re: Your question about different revising methods - Among my author friends, processes vary, but a lot is shaped by how you draft. I know some authors who draft slow, clean drafts and have much less to do in revisions. I have other friends who do quick and dirty first drafts knowing they'll do heavier work in revisions. Many more authors fall somewhere in the middle. As for me, I like to start every draft from a blank page and rewrite as opposed to editing in-text. Something around writing the whole thing over is helpful for me, but many friends are horrified when I tell them! Like most things in writing, you should do what feels best to you!
