Hi everyone! I’m new here and wanted to introduce myself. For the past several years, I’ve been navigating severe social anxiety. It’s a bit of a contradiction because I’m naturally a very extroverted person who loves people, but past traumas have made it difficult to fully be myself. Right now, I’m focused on the comeback. I’m 18 and a half, living on my own, and studying filmmaking in college. I’m working hard, both physically and mentally to reach some big, ambitious goals. My interests are all over the creative map: filmmaking, music production, writing, directing, psychology, and philosophy. After a lot of hard work, my goal is to finally break free and feel like a 'new' person, to enjoy life and live freely for the first time in over a decade. I got asked to prom recently and I was honestly really nervous about going. However, once I got there, I was actually able to have good conversations, laugh, and enjoy myself way more than I expected. It was a great experience and I was glad to be able to step out of my comfort zone. Despite my nervousness I was still able to show up and have a great time! (especially on the dance floor 🕺)
