What were you made for?
I want to ask you something this week. What do you think you were made for? Not what you do for a living. Not what you are good at. Not what other people expect from you. What do you actually think you were put here to do and become? I ask because I believe every person in this room was formed for more than they are currently living. Not because your life is bad. Because you have more in you. Drop your answer below. One sentence is enough. I will go first.

I believe I was made to glorify God through making others feel welcome, especially in unfamiliar environments.
What's the Gap?
I want to try something different this week. Instead of asking you what your goal is or what your thing is, I want to ask you something harder. Think about the best version of yourself. Not the Instagram version. The real one. The person you are when everything is clicking, when you are living with intention, when you feel like yourself. Now be honest. What is the biggest gap between that person and who you are showing up as right now? Not a goal. Not a resolution. A gap. Name it here. One sentence. I will go first in the comments. Then I want to talk about it this week.

My biggest gap is that I easily negotiate myself out of making disciplined decisions. That could be eating out when I have food at home, skipping the gym completely because I do not have time for a full workout, scrolling for another 10 mins instead of reading before bed, etc. I am too good sometimes at coming up with an excuse to not stick to habits I want to build.
WHAT'S YOUR THING?
This month in The Arena, we're doing one thing. Naming it. Your goal. Your dream. Your obstacle. Out loud. In public. To this community. Because vague is safe, and safe doesn't change your life. Week one starts now. Drop your thing below. One sentence. Name it.

As I approach the post-grad chapter of my life, my goal is obtaining a job in my prospective career.

Hi! I'm Ava. I am a young woman and interested in building the good habits early. I thrive on structure and hope to glorify God in all I do.
