I've had my poetry community since December I have a little over 300 members. I've been back and forth on monetizing my community. Finally I decided it doesn't matter if I get more members as much to me any more. I want to give my full attention to the members I have now. So last week I did the switch with the 7 day free trail. Now since December I've been getting new members almost daily. So when they stopped showing up I went into panic mode did I make the right decision or not. So yesterday I switched back to free then I'm looking through the discovery and noticed @Nikki J has her poetry community monitzed and so do so many so I switched It back today and got my first paid member. There's no going back now. So excited I made the switch thank you @Nikki J my new bestie. Its only up from here. The Art of Poetry Community

Sooooo… Facebook advertised my group!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤 I’m pretty excited about that. I made over my page just today. I also have a question …….. so the 7day free trial I recently watched one of the Skool videos, and they suggested that offering a 7-day free trial can be a great way to get people in the door and eventually convert them into paying members. Well, I’ve finally got that set up and my group is now monetized. My question is: Should my group be public or private if I’m offering a 7-day free trial? I can see benefits to both: - Public: people can preview the community and get a feel for the content before the sign up for the free trial - Private: it feels more exclusive and may encourage people to join. And the curiosity may influence a 7day free trial and then a conversion.. For those who have done this successfully, what worked best for you and why? Would love to hear any advice or lessons learned. 🖤

I posted this in my community as a creative writing prompt to provoke thought, but I thought it would be fun to bring it over here to apply to community building as well… What do you think the meaning of resistance is? Do you think the things truly meant for us flow more naturally… or do the most meaningful paths usually come with resistance? I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. Sometimes you can love something (or someone) deeply and still feel constant friction around it. Delays. Roadblocks. Lack of resources. Things breaking at the worst possible time. The path feeling heavier than expected. Some people believe when something is aligned for you, life clears a path. Others believe resistance is part of becoming who you’re meant to be. What do you think? At what point is resistance a lesson, and at what point is it redirection?

Most people think: “i need more skills before i can charge” Nope. u have no idea how wrong that is u don’t need to be the best u just need to be:👉 1–2 steps ahead no one started as “experts” plus while ur stuck someone less skilled is already making money so HERES the friggin breakdown: your first win is NOT: - a course - a funnel - a brand - its this: 👉 solving ONE problem for ONE person 👉 and getting a result even for free at first for example: you don’t say:“i’m a skool growth expert” you say: “i’ll help u get 5 new members this week” or “i’ll help u stop 2 people from churning” specific > impressive heres what you actually do: 1. find someone with a problem (you already did this) 2. offer to help them get a result 3. do the work WITH them not for them WITH them this is important because now: 👉 you learn 👉 they get a result 👉 you have proof and proof = money this is where it flips: after you get a result you don’t say: “i hope more people find me” you say: 👉 “i just did this for X, want the same?” that’s it no complicated sales no content machine yet just proof → repeat now heres the part people avoid: your first few wins will feel messy good that’s how you know it’s real clean systems come AFTER wins not before so if you’ve been stuck “preparing” this is your sign go get 1 win then another then we scale it comment the ONE result u think u could help someone get this week 🪿 Don’t know yet?
