What does Michael do when he can't make videos
Because time alone and quiet is hard to come by. I am about to start going to my car to do this. But I can ideate, write, read.... and code no matter what. So I did a thing.... Trainings, Onboarding, better documentation are all priorities and being added to daily. But in the background my buddy Claude is churning along on a few things... Next Priorities are marketing, LayoutCrafter (the Vellum/Atticus tool) which I had some layout issues with to get all the extras that Romantasy and modern books now have, images in the backgrounds, fancy chapter headings, sprayed edges, forced edges (neat trick that one), etc. In doing more research on this I came across a few things that tied into some future roadmap items. I've mentioned this before that I started writing again a few years ago with a fascination of Visual novels created in Ren'Py and then came Ai. About six months ago I started noodling on how to do this easier and write better and WordCrafter.Pro was born and continues to evolve. I am trying NOT to change much in its base functionality to keep the learning curve light on the basic writing side but instead use the plugins to do the "optional" additions AudioCrafter for audiobooks, BookCrafter as an automated writing tool, the unfinished tools, Layout Crafter for book finishing, ImageCrafter for higher end covers, graphics, and POD or DIY merchandise, MarketCrafter for the full marketing plan and social media mastery, PathCrafter for Interactive/Branching Fiction and the three just research projects so far GameCrafter, VideoCrafter, BookWorlds, and a couple others that are notes on a napkin. The goal is a one stop shop. We may not do everything here but having to learn one tool that does most helps us all be more productive So a teaser of my last few days is below. And yes I have been editing furiously two books as well PathCrafter for interactive and branching fiction. At it's simplest it is a Choose Your Own Adventure book engine. But I'ma glutton for punishment and can't leave it at just that. So you can also create game books with encounters, combat, dice rolls, NPC's with timelines and agendas they follow. Both of these formats can be read/played online or exported as an epub, pdf or html file with the choices on each page and "If you have the lantern go to page 12, Otherwise got ot page 23". The gaming version has extra pages to cover those needs, including a way to generate a random number if you do not have dice. Cool eh?

PathCrafter sounds neat! I run D&D games, and this might be a fun way to write my own modules instead of using prepackaged ones (if the system supports understanding game systems).

@Michael Culp Savage Worlds is another good generic system, though it does rely on a deck of playing cards as well as dice. I got the rulebooks a couple of years ago with the goal of writing my own sci-fi game, but haven't been able to organize anything yet.

I'm Michael. I built the Professional Writing System and WordCrafter Pro after spending years trying to wrangle AI tools into something that actually helps writers write better stories — not just faster ones. The Professional Writing System is a set of Claude skills to help you as authors get the words out and get published. Each skill has a group of personas who are experts in their field that let you discuss your book not order the AI to do your bidding. They help you work out ideas, build the story Bible & outline, design believable characters, write your story (with help not write for you), and edit the work afterwards. The Merch and Marketing skills step in to help you build products around your story and sell it (the most important part) WordCrafter Pro is the latest in AI Writing Aids that has the entire PWS System baked in. Here in a scrivener styled interface you can organize all of your pieces together, control your context windows, get help when needed and get the stories published! With this system you never have to write alone again. You can even talk to the persona's individually ***** What you've walked into is the community hub for everything PWS: the skill files, the app we're building, the classes, the challenges, and most importantly, the other writers doing this work alongside you. Here's what to do right now: 1. Introduce yourself in the Introductions category. Tell us your name, what you write, and your biggest creative challenge right now. 2. Grab the free PWS Quick-Start Guide at [this link] It explains the four-phase system and shows you exactly where to start. 3. Browse the Start Here posts. The PWS Overview explains all four phases. The Community Rules are short and worth reading. This community is free and always will be. A paid Inner Circle tier is coming for writers who want deeper access, but everything you need to use the system lives here at no cost. the skills themselves and the PWS Studio App I'm developing will have a cost, but if you are reading this there will be a huge discount.

@Michael Culp I am actually creating a monster romance solo journaling RPG now (I'm prototyping my first monster to test the system), which I guess is similar.
