NYC is opening a new career hub at 2 Lafayette Street, and walk-ins are welcome starting October 5, 2026. Here's what you'll find: ✅ On-the-spot hiring events ✅ Free career development classes ✅ A testing hub for municipal employment exams If you're job hunting, looking to level up your skills, or eyeing a city government role, this is worth a visit. 📝 This Wednesday, I'll be going over resumes to get you all prepared before you walk in. Have your current resume ready! 📅 Check the calendar for the time and details. 👥 Know someone who's job hunting? Add your friends to the group so they can join in too. Name: Atef Chisty Career: Engineer | Operations Leader | Entrepreneur Dream: Build something that creates opportunity, confidence, and direction for others. Best Skill: Leadership and helping people see their potential. Improving: Mentorship, communication, and public speaking. Why I created The Rising Circle: I know what it feels like to have ambition but not always have the right guidance or outlet. I wanted to build the community I wish I had earlier. If this can help someone find confidence, direction, or an opportunity, it’s worth it. If you know someone who needs this circle, invite them in.
