Hi everyone!! My name is Ate. I am from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. I am here to improve my brush playing and make it sound musical, tasty and interesting. Lately I have been playing Jazz mostly, but with a friend who is a guitar player, I write and record the occasional progressive post rock as well. Besides playing the drums, I am an electrical engineer by profession and I love bouldering, reading scifi, working on tube amplifiers and walking in the mountains (outside of The Netherlands obviously). At the moment, I am really happy with my Tama SLP 14"x5.5" maple snare drum, especially with an Evans Calftone on the batter side.
