Daily Due: Accuracy Saves Time ⏱️
Here’s something that feels backward but isn’t: Slowing down for accuracy actually makes you faster. When you double-check your work as part of the process — not as an afterthought — you eliminate rework. You stop fixing the same errors at month end. You avoid chasing discrepancies during reconciliation. You don’t have to explain numbers you don’t trust. Accuracy isn’t about perfection. It’s about building a habit: ✔ Review the payee before saving ✔ Confirm the category makes sense ✔ Make sure the account matches the intent ✔ Reconcile to a real zero — not a “close enough” zero Every time you do this, you’re stacking time savings for the future. Clean books don’t happen at tax time. They happen in the daily decisions. Today’s challenge: Before you click save on your next transaction, pause for 10 seconds and verify it. That small pause compounds. 👇 Comment below: What’s one place in your bookkeeping process where you tend to rush? Let’s tighten it up together.

Confessions of a Bookkeeper Trying to Be a YouTuber
Hey everyone! In this video, I'm diving into my journey of learning how to create QuickBooks tutorial videos using Loom. I'm excited to share that I've been putting my thoughts and planning into ChatGPT to develop a template for these videos. As I'm still figuring out the video-making process, I appreciate your patience and support as I work on this. Stay tuned for more updates and let me know if you have any tips or suggestions!

E- Enter Transactions
Do you enter transactions weekly—or in large batches? Awareness points to improvement. 💰🦾 - Which part of entry feels most draining right now? - Where do you tend to guess instead of know?

@Susan Meisinger while I am absolutely out of it. I am seeing a lot of solo entrepreneurs are logging transactions in real time. I think.
“With C.L.E.A.R. books, I lead my business by __________.”

@Susan Meisinger that’s a great question. But there are so many answers. But if had to choose one that was most important to me it would be. I lead my business with strategy. (A business plan) marketing strategy, financial strategy operational strategy. Product strategy.

L- Lay The Foundation
This week, choose one foundation task: - Review your chart of accounts for simplicity - Disconnect any non-business accounts - Turn off one unused feature - Document your current setup for clarity

@Susan Meisinger i love this . Laying foundation with clarity. And laying foundation with goals. These are the strongest foundations on which to build a great business.

@Susan Meisinger first step✅ Done- Next . Before you know you will be 🎯 on target. You know regardless what we do in life , it is the intention-that starts the things rolling. Because when we intent for something, we start taking steps - and when we take steps doors open . At least for me that has always worked. You started with intention, you got your things in order. That’s a start.
