I think changing your circle is a really good place to start. A lot of networking for me has just come down to being willing to start a conversation and actually getting to know people, rather than going in with the mindset of trying to find the “right” contacts. For local connections, I’d probably look at investing meetups, business events and even smaller groups where you can have proper conversations with people. You tend to learn a lot just from hearing how other people are approaching things. Since you’re interested in investing and building a portfolio, are you mainly looking to meet people who are already experienced in it, or people who are on a similar journey to you?
