Fix your two handed backhand with 3 coaching cues
Most players are taught where to swing. Great coaches teach where to make contact. When Iโ€™m teaching a 2-handed backhand out of the air on the ball machine, these are the 3 cues I use: โœ… Extend out in front firstโœ… Use mostly the left hand (for right-handed players)โœ… Load the left leg โ†’ transfer to the right leg One of the most common mistakes? The ball keeps sailing high over the net. Before changing the swing, check the contact point. If contact is too close to the body, the paddle face tends to open and the ball floats. Move the contact point further out in front and watch the trajectory flatten immediately. Simple cue. Huge difference. Proud Coach
Tommie. ๐Ÿค I have to take a moment because this video genuinely made me emotional. When Tommie first started working on her dink, the ball was being pushed through the court โ€” weight coming up off the ground, sometimes landing on one leg at contact. Not her fault. Nobody showed her any different. Watch what happens when someone decides to commit. Grounded feet. Full balance. Topspin over her shoulder on command. This is what this community is built for. This is why we show up, do the reps, and trust the process even when it feels slow. Tommie โ€” you are an absolute example of what hard work looks like. I could not be more proud of you. ๐ŸŽพโœจ Drop some love for her in the comments. She has earned every single bit of it. ๐Ÿ‘‡

Need your help!
Hi Ladies, after the coaching presentation wondering what gives you the most value. Should I focus on a progression series something like moving from 3.5-4.0 or should I continue to do one off videos?! What would you rather?

@Geriley Boyum Welcome - excited to have you. Consistency is a big one.. do you mean consistency in terms of the level of your play each time you play or consistency in terms of making more balls in general?
Progression or one off videos
I prefer one off videos. It gives me one thing to work on that day rather than a progression which is harder to sustain. But this is for me, others may disagree or are more organized in their progress.
