What is the right thing to do?
A teenager from Gambia has been reaching me for over a year. To send him money. For food, meds etc. He takes care of his younger 3 siblings and supposedly has lost his parents. He has one time manipulated me into sending him more money after I already sent some. I still do believe that he is doing this in desperation, not to excuse it. And even after that I helped him one other time. Today he reached me again with a picture of his younger sister having a serious burn, asking me to support him to pay for medical care. I have another friend in the Philippines today going homeless. My own friends in Iran not in great shape. I don't have very much info on my own family in Iran. My thinking is in disarray and wondered if anyone here may know of a resource so that he can help himself better. Thanks in advance if anything at all.

@Lucy Pseudonym I agree. I was happy to be his friend and speak to him and guide him through some stuff. But when he did that I stepped away.

@Midori Tengu I am speaking to Iran through my mother and speak to some on WhatsApp. It is what it is as we know. I will mention that to the Philippines dude. As for the Gambia dude. He messaged me on upscrolled some time ago. He told me about his story a bit and I went on video with him to check if he was telling the truth. Im sure I don't know the whole story, but was curious if there's an organisation I can mention to him that he himself may be too young to understand how to find. Because it's not fair to guilt trip me every time his siblings have a health issue. And I wondered if there's an official route for real vulnerable people.

People in Iran are taking action towards this. They are asking how best to do this in a way that is safe and effective. If there has been a video on this that I missed please let me know.
