Not gonna lie, it's Friday and I should probably be having a drink with the homies. But I didn't get my 5 pages in today. A couple months back a friend of mine who's studying filmmaking in school asked me how far I've gotten in my script. I told him I have a bunch of finished drafts, but I'm not sure how/if they work structurally so I'm a little lost with where my story is headed. He gave me insight that stuck with me. 5 pages a day. Doesn't matter if they're good, just matters that it gets done. I've been implementing this (mostly) every weekday this month and my story has been clearer than ever. And honestly I was about to just watch the last episode of severance (if I see spoilers in here we fighting) and then go to bed, but nah. Hopped in the community and was reminded I'm not the only one out here fighting to turn their dreams into reality. So boom. 4 pages to go.
