Hey, I’m Asad, based in Pakistan. I’ve been coding for about 3 years, working as a full-stack MERN developer, and I’ve had the chance to ship production-level applications in real job environments. I know my skills, especially on the frontend, and I take pride in the work I deliver. I truly love what I do. I show up every day trying to get better, learning, fixing my mistakes, and pushing my limits. But I’ll be honest—there are moments where I feel lost in direction, not because I lack ability, but because I’m unsure where my effort will matter the most. I’ve tried freelancing. I get some work here and there, but deep down I want more than just small gigs. I want to work with people who challenge me, guide me, and help me grow, not just pay me. I care about building things properly, about writing quality code, and about becoming a developer I can truly respect years from now. Hearing that platforms like Upwork are saturated or dying has added to the confusion. I know I’m capable, I know I can deliver, yet breaking into international clients or meaningful long-term opportunities feels harder than it should be. Right now, I’m not giving up—but I am seeking clarity. I want to understand the right path forward: where to focus, how to position myself, and how to connect with opportunities that actually value the work and the person behind it.
