Taoism and Science
Is anyone here familiar with the work of Dr. Michael Levin on bioelectric fields and cellular development? I think it points towards a plausible mechanism for the "qi" phenomenon central to acupuncture and qigong, and this article from a Taoist perspective reviews a recent scientific study of energy healing and cancer that seems to point in the same direction. I think this area of research is very promising and highly worthy of further investigation. https://www.diegosanmiquel.net/blog/biofield-therapy-cancer-research-md-anderson-medical-qigong

Interesting. I have been practing QiGong for several years along with mindfulness, so now that I have been diagnosed with CADASIL Dementia and curious about learning more if that involves bringing science as well.
Applied Daoism in action
I've always said that tai chi is the physical practice of applied Daoism, a sort of kinesthetic philosophy. Most people think of tai chi as forms, but it also includes a partner exercise called push hands. Push hands has different variations, some of which are more competitive than others. This video shows a tournament-style push hands match, which does a good job of illustrating many of the principles of Daoism and of tai chi, the martial art that's based on it, such as yin/yang balance, adaptation, and non-resistance. What do you notice when you watch this video, and what Daoist principles can you see on display? I'll put my observations in the comments.

If the fighter was from Brazil, I'd wonder how influenced he was by Copiera which originates from Brazilian slaves and especially because a lot of their moves can be described as dancing. I learned about the martial art recently, so I admit I might be pulling that out of nowhere. ;) Just a suggestion.
