Hi! My name is Arnau Argemi, and I’m an underwater filmmaker currently based in Barcelona, Spain. I specialize in cinematic underwater productions for documentaries to promote marine conservation. My journey into underwater cinematography started with a background in biology and a deep love for the ocean. My true passion had been clear to me since I was 10 years old, when I first fell in love with scuba diving. From that moment on, I spent every vacation day scuba diving and learning about marine life. Observing and documenting every behavior I saw underwater. At the age of 23, I took the risk of transitioning from a corporate pharmaceutical job to pursue my lifelong passion for underwater filmmaking. Over the past five years, I have been working as a full-time underwater cinematographer, combining my scientific foundation with creative storytelling to document unique untold narratives that promote marine conservation. I aim to create innovative visuals that inspire a global audience to connect with and protect the oceans. So, I joined this community to learn from industry-leading experts, connect with other like-minded creatives, share knowledge, keep growing professionally and further develop my craft.
