What's a past experience that in the moment seemed painful but you eventually grew to appreciate?
What's a moment or experience from your past that originally seemed so painful and like your life was falling apart that you eventually grew to have appreciation for? Why do you appreciate it?

Unexpectedly having to move out of my ex/life partners place & live with family again.I feel like it was needed because I started to love myself more, find myself again, be more independent & be grateful God supplied my needs in a new way.
