Community Call: “Find Your Constraint” with Tom
Hey everyone 👋 I'm excited to bring in someone who really gets the grind of early-stage YouTube growth. YouTube News: No more AI
To qualify for the YouTube Partner Program, creators must now produce original content featuring real voices. Or rather, they always were supposed to but they've now bettered their detection for Ai and mass produced content as well as they mentioned in this post: https://x.com/TeamYouTube/status/1940584542198550684 This means a lot of clipping and AI channels will shut down - leading to more views for the rest of us who are actually creating original, personal content! If you're ready to start your own personal brand... join YouTube with Ben where I'll help you personally with your channel strategy, video ideas, and video feedback! 👉🏼 https://www.skool.com/ben (4 new people joined already in the last 24h 😉)

Skool has now a $9 plan 🥳🎉
If you've been thinking about starting a skool... but just didn't want to yet because it's so expensive... Now's the time!! Why? Because skool just released a $9 plan that has the most important features you'll need for building your community & making the first money. The $99 plan still exists, but you really don't need it anymore to get started. Here’s my affiliate link if you finally want to take the leap: https://www.skool.com/signup?ref=81b91ccfe8264f999c7fb36d7524fdbf Without skool I would probably still be in the college that I didn't like, in the 9-5 job that I didn't like... It's changed my life so dramatically and I hope it can do the same for you!

Why this format gained 180k views on the first video
I've been studying YouTube videos for a while. Trying to figure out what makes people tick. My first sample it’s this Korean man. Video title: I'm a Failed Korean Man at 36 Thumbnail text: I'm a failure, Korean, 36 y.o. That video did not get 10 or even 100 views. It got 180k views. But the crazy thing is that was his first video. He had a few things in his favor… Korea (Korea, it’s the new Paris) Korean man (People are aware that Korea it's a competitive society. Sharing the struggles of Korean people it's interesting) Mid-thirties feeling lost (A lot of people in their mid-thirties right now resonate with the message) But once he went viral on that first video. He continued to create more content. This is what I've kinda noticed that the deep, open your heart messages do connect. But once you stop with the oversharing and turn your life around. The views stop rolling in. So the only way to get views is to keep on the same topic. But I'm not making this up. Because as you can see he is getting more and more positive, but the views are going down rather than up. Upon realizing it, he decided to make a new video called: Dealing with my Anxiety (& learning to love myself) I’m Closing Down My Business at 36 The Korea You Never See | A Korean Man's Escape I'll park it here, but they're different ways to create videos on YouTube and connect with people. This framework of opening up your heart works well.

The only way to actually quit scrolling (for the addicts)
I've spoken to hundreds of guys who are either struggling with their online consumption or previously had. and I've come to the conclusion that there are two different kinds of scrollers… there is "the Casual Scroller" this person scrolls from time to time and when they realise they've been scrolling for way to long they just turn of their phone. "the Casual Scroller" is often someone older and they've never really been trying to reduce their screen time because they don't really see it as a real problem. then there is the second kind of scroller "the Doom Scroller" I am this kind of scroller, I'm a Doom Scroller, what this means is when you realise you've been scrolling for way too long, you don't stop, or in other words YOU CAN'T STOP. "the Doom Scroller" cannot properly control their addiction, they cannot just 'exit' the scroll, it sucks them in and they lose control. "Okay Jonas I get you but what do I now do with this information??" once you've identified who you are you can plan ur next steps, if ur "the Casual Scroller" just delete the apps and tell urself to not scroll, simple and easy ;) but since you've read so far down this post that probably isn't you :/ I get you bro… you need to take more drastic measures, you need to give urself no choice but to quit, you need to slowly step away from each addiction. first you eliminate short form content, then you eliminate the TV-shows, then the movies etc… this is a slow and tedious process and I should probably also add that it's pretty difficult :/ but it works and it has helped tens of guys that I've told this to. and it helped me quit everything 5 months ago, it's a method I came up with myself and I call it the onion method. and trust me bro the journey is worth it keep going, and if u got some questions about this stuff then feel free to leave them below I'll be happy to help u out with anything ur struggling with :D

This is real, bro. Doom Scroller here too and it’s tough to just “stop.” Onion Method sounds smart peeling it back one layer at a time. Respect for making it 5 months;))
