I feel like it’s only right that I share this here first. Because exactly one year ago today, this was the first place I shared my idea for Bible Buddy. ❤️ At the time, it was just an idea. I wanted to create something that would help everyday people understand God’s Word without feeling like they needed to be a theologian, have a master’s degree in biblical studies, or spend years in seminary just to understand what they were reading. 📖 I believe everyone should have the opportunity to read the Bible AND understand what they’re reading. And that’s what I’ve spent the past year trying to build. I’m not a professional developer. I’m not a theologian. I’m just a guy who loves studying the Bible and wanted to create something that could help other people fall in love with studying it, too. And let me tell you, this past year has been one heck of a journey! 😂 There have been countless hours of building, learning, fixing things, breaking things, and figuring things out along the way. But today, I finally get to say something I’ve been working toward for an entire year… 🍎 BIBLE BUDDY IS OFFICIALLY AVAILABLE ON THE APPLE APP STORE! 🎉 That means you can now download Bible Buddy directly onto your iPhone or iPad and have it right there on your home screen whenever you’re ready to study God’s Word. 📲 Download Bible Buddy here: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6822155944 🤖 And to all my Android users, don’t worry! We’re working on bringing Bible Buddy to Google Play soon, too! I also want to say thank you to everyone here who has followed this journey, encouraged me, or simply taken the time to listen to me talk about this idea over the past year. It really means a lot. 🙏 My prayer is that Bible Buddy helps people do more than just read Scripture. I hope it helps them actually understand it, grow in their faith, and develop a deeper relationship with God. One year ago, I was sharing an idea. Today, I’m sharing an app you can actually download.

I read Isaiah 47:13–14. God literally says, “Let your astrologers save you,” because He knows they can’t. That hit me hard. Zodiac signs try to define you. But God says that’s His job, not the stars. And when something else shapes your identity, it becomes a rival voice. That’s why God hates it.

It took a minute, but tomorrow we officially finish the 21 Day Tempting of Jesus devotional 🙌🏽 Thank you for staying committed and walking through it together. Now we are shifting gears. I really believe we can dive deeper into God’s Word when we give it time. Not rushing through chapters. Not cramming for understanding. Actually letting Scripture do its work in us. ⏳ Not rushing 🧠 Not cramming 📖 Actually sitting with Scripture Starting this Saturday, we are moving into weekly Bible study. 📖 The Testing of Joseph Genesis 37–50 This story focuses on temptation, faith, forgiveness, redemption, and purpose. It shows how God moves His promise forward from one man carrying the covenant to the formation of the twelve tribes of Israel. Joseph’s story is powerful, but it is also deeply practical. It is filled with real life wisdom for how we live as children of God when life is unfair, confusing, or painful. 🧭 How this will work 📅 Every Saturday we will cover one chapter ✍🏽 I will post reflection questions 📖 I will also share a recommended weekly reading schedule to help you slow down, process, and really understand the chapter 💬 Throughout the week we will discuss verses and insights together in the comments 🎯 If you have ever struggled to understand the Bible ⏱️ If you have ever wanted to slow down instead of rushing 🌱 If you want to grow deeper in Scripture This study is for you. We are not rushing this story. We are walking through it together. 📍 Joseph begins Saturday Are you going to join us?

🧎‍♂️ You repent quicker 🗣️ You check your mouth more 📖 You crave the Word 🧠 You think before reacting 🧹 You’re cutting out distractions 🤐 You don’t need the last word 🌊 You trust God even in chaos Quiet growth is still growth.
