Hello everyone! My name is Ariana and I'm a drummer/ teacher/ audio person who is in the midst of becoming a producer from Pittsburgh, PA! I've been studying/ playing music in bands, orchestra settings, etc. for most of my life. I've been in love with electronic music since I went to see Zeds Dead 15 years ago haha. Yet I've never fully pursued that path on my own. I only have a few tracks on Soundcloud from years ago (made in GarageBand), but recently started learning Ableton and working on my first track. I was just ready to start making more moves in my musical career, and then I somehow connected with KJ and became part of this community! I haven't been very active on here yet since I was going through a lot of life changes the past couple months, but I'm ready to start connecting! This is awesome and I'm looking forward to sharing my progress with you all and seeing your progress too! I hope to gain more knowledge about Ableton and writing techniques, and the best way to go about my essential goal (which is to be playing drums live over my tracks). Not sure which way I want to go yet, but I love DnB and it's a ton of fun on drums, so that will likely be included! Other than that, I hope to network and connect with people in this amazing community! I'm not sure if I can place what inspired me to pursue music. I guess I did play drums at my middle school talent show, and that was eye-opening haha, so maybe that! Otherwise, it's always been there for me and has helped me get through rough times. It's the only thing in life that I really have felt I understood. And it's the only thing I can see myself doing for the rest of my life. I want to be able to make a living doing what I love, and I don't see myself stopping until I can make it happen! Right now I am learning Ableton and will be buying a DJ controller soon.
