Hello all, I am a 42 year old working as the police chief for my local municipality in Ohio. I train BJJ as much as my schedule will allow. My over all goal is to get in better overall shape and wellness and possibly compete in my first BJJ tournament with some of my officers in the future.

Hello Michael. I recommend, after reaching adaptation with resistant training, if you are in correct weight, start lifting heavy weight to build strength. Then, you need to do explosive exersices and endurance things, which can be also combined with you lr bjj sessions. OSS
