AI...
AI.... SOooooo.... thought I might throw out a 'controversial' topic.... what do peeps think of using AI generated parts in their music? Are you having success? Inspiration? I know I have been very pleasantly surprised in a variety of ways and would love to hear your experiences. :D

@Nathan Hershfeld Does it matter, really? I mean, it is about how the *listener* feels, not about whether the creator has a soul or not.
Starting My New Journey: 2 Plugins Per Week | 8 Plugins Per Month | 96 Plugins Per Year
I finally did an inventory of all the plugins I own… and the number is around 300 🤯 But they are useless if I don’t truly know them. So I’m starting a long-term journey of studying and testing each plugin, beginning with the most important ones. My plan: - 2 plugins per week - 3 days study per plugin - at least 1 hour each day - Sunday review of both plugins That means 8 plugins per month and so 96 plugins per year. I’m committing to some understanding how each plugins shapes tone, dynamics, color, and workflow. It’s going to take time and patience. But honestly… there’s no other way. Is there? Gotta do it!

And when you're done, get yourself a copy of Amorph and start building your own plugins.
Damian Replays
Are the replays of Damian’s sound design calls available to watch anywhere?

Sure thing. Go to classroom /check-in booking & replay links, select replays, open the spreadsheet and go to the sheet 'Sound Design/Plugin Call'. There!
Guitar meets Moog
In the Spring of 1978,I bought a Gibson RD Artist. The unique thing about it is at the time a company named Norlin owned both Gibson and Moog so they had Moog do some advanced electronics to include active EQ, compressor, expander and preamp circuitry. We are approaching 50 years together. I liked to experiment with electronics going way back and hacked on this one to add additional phase options and other unnecessary features. Through all the hacking and the natural aging process, the poor thing doesn’t play consistently due to end-of-life of the capacitors. Anyway I dove in today and have compiled a parts list on Digikey and will be restoring the electronics over the next few weeks. Here’s some before photos! Wish me luck!

Now that is an interesting piece of guitarism!
Tried my best to draw “Foundation First” Method
I had many attempts to instruct AI to create image but AI doesn’t understand this, so I did it myself. Front Wall of Depth: Kick and snare at - 5 dBFs True Peak Back Wall of Depth: Kick low end and bass at 0 VU meter
