New guitar!
So I finally found myself a vintage handmade guitar from the 70s and I'm so stoked. I've been wanting a handmade classical for years. It feels so good to play and the tone is so beautiful, so full and warm. I hope it picks up on my phone mic. Sorry, just had to share.

That's awesome, it sounds really great! I bought my classical off of amazon, it's the GC22C and it's served me well. I would like a louder classical in the future because it's not as loud as my spruce acoustic. Maybe perhaps a spruce classical at some point..
From the start, but in three different time signatures

Nail shaping
I am a noob to this course and very recently started playing the classical guitar. I would very much like to get better at fingerstyle playing and I have a question about my nail shaping. Prior to the right hand class that I saw, I though the nails just needed to be long on the plucking hand and short on the fretting hand. Apparently, it seems much more complicated than this. Should my plucking hand nails be flattened out at the tip? (As to reduce drag on the string?) Or should it be more rounded at the tip? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks all.

This is what I do here in this video, there's a specific angle I try to get one side of my nails to be. A flat slope down towards the skin but not to thin, because I want the nail touching the strings, but not too much nail to cause catching. The third finger has given me trouble as it can be easy to file it too short, but you learn the needs of your fingers over time. Also, I don't want the nails too long, that's why I file the top down too, and then I like to smooth it out so I'm filing all over a little. I always have vaseline near me for lubrication against the strings. Sorry for no audio, I thought I was recording audio for testing the nail on the guitar but you can still see my process here.
